Trustees

Giles Clark

Giles has an indescribable and overwhelming affinity for animals and the natural world.

His relentless determination and commitment, together with an in-depth knowledge of wildlife has helped develop an extremely successful career looking after exotic animals in captivity but his real passion is to support conservation organisations working to protect wildlife in its natural habitat. He has lived in many countries around the world, including many locations that are on the frontline conservation.

He has been the subject of numerous BBC2 series, most notable the “About the House” strand that has followed him on his mission “to make a difference” for wildlife.

Aaron Whitnall

Aaron Whitnall has grown up in the wildlife profession, working at his family’s two wildlife parks, Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire and the Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent.

Aaron has spent time as a zoo keeper, working with a wide variety of animals such as reptiles, birds, hoof stock, big cats, and primates. He has also spent time travelling the world learning about animals in their natural habitats, the threats facing them and also getting involved in ongoing conservation work to help protect them.

Aaron is now a host of CBBC’s TV show ‘One Zoo Three’ alongside his brothers, helping to educate the next generation of conservationists and animal enthusiasts.

Sir Eric Peacock

Sir Eric is a Philanthropist and Professional Trustee with many years of experience in philanthropic and trustee roles.

Apart from Limelight Foundation he is a Chairman & Trustee of Paradise Wildlife Park and The Big Cat Sanctuary (two animal charities).

He is also the Chairman and Trustee of The Peacock Foundation which is focussed through art in improving young person’s innovation skills.

He is also The Chairman and Trustee of the AB Foundation which has built and runs children’s projects in Uganda namely an orphanage for those children whose parents have died of AIDS and a school for disadvantaged young persons to accelerate their learning and opportunities for employment.

He is also The Chairman and Trustee of Uniqueness which is focussed on school leavers providing them with inspiration, options, CV preparation and introductions to assist them when leaving school whether they are destined for university, further education or immediate employment.

Sir Eric holds a number of Chairman and Non-Executive roles within the public and private sector and currently Chairs Bango Plc (Global payments), Stevenage Packaging Ltd (Packaging solutions), E-Careers (Online upscaling learning), Whizz Education (Online learning for children), Boxford Suffolk Holdings (Fruit Farming, Hotel, Golf and Spa, IPRO Ltd (energy drink manufacture and distribution).

He is also Chairman of Hawkins and Brimble (men’s skin, hair and beard cosmetics) and Buckley Jewellery (design and manufacture of costume jewellery).

Matt Brady

Matt is a former English footballer who played in the football league for Barnet and Wycombe Wanderers.

Matt founded The Limelight Collection in 2005 which is an exclusive and bespoke Personal Assistant service designed for people within the worlds of Sports and Entertainment.

Matt has a huge passion for wildlife & conservation and has volunteered between at several charities, including the Zoological Society of Hertfordshire and the Big Cat Sanctuary as well as supporting conservation projects abroad in Costa Rica and in Uganda.

Matt’s responsibilities include networking with potential sponsors and connecting the world of football to conservation.

Charity Secretary

Marian Brady

Marian has been involved with the Limelight Collection for the last 17 years and is also a huge animal lover and conservationist.
Marian’s role within the foundation is to manage the relationship with the players, hotels and restaurants ensuring we have a strong selection of auction items and the winners are receiving their prizes within good time. Marian also manages the trustees diaries and oversees the general operations of the charity.
